Jesse E. Mower
Jesse is a versatile multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter from Northeast Pennsylvania, known for his work as frontman/electric guitarist, recording engineer, and founding member of NEPA Blues/Rock & Roll power-trio "Static in the Attic, as well as multi-instrumental acoustic duo with folk singer/songwriter Sara Hulse, and his most recent collaboration with masterful rhythm section featuring Jami Novak on drums and vocals (Cabinet, Mike Miz & The Northeast Extension, Village Idiots, Dishonest Fiddlers…) and Jon Ventre on electric bass guitar (Rogue Chimp, Clarence Spadey…) dubbed “Greenfield III”.
Since 2010, Mower has been captivating audiences with soul drenched vocal/guitar performances, earning a reputation as one of the most exciting musicians on the scene in Northeast Pennsylvania and beyond.
Jesse draws inspiration from his deep love for the blues, jazz, funk, Rock & Roll, and all music, his fellow local musicians and mentors of Northeast PA and beyond, the many guitar heroes of the past and present (with influences including Buddy Guy, Muddy waters, Django Reinhardt, Les Paul, Jimi Hendrix, John Scofield, Slash, Paul Gilbert, Eddie Van Halen, Billy Strings, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Gales, Eric Johnson, Jeff Beck…), and the many friends and listeners that he has been able to meet and bring together to share the power of music and community.
In addition to his work highlighting the electric power-trio format, Jesse collaborates with multi-instrumentalist folk singer-songwriter Sara Hulse in a one-of-a-kind duo that blends acoustic folk, blues, ska, reggae, and jazz, showcasing his undying will to learn and ability to adapt and innovate across genres.
The dynamic duo has shared the stage with notable acts including Billy Strings, Sam Bush, Sierra Hull, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Sam Grisman, Melvin Seals & JGB, The Wailers, big Brother & Holding Company, Keller Williams, The Allman Betts Band and more, while Jesse's electric guitar performances have brought him to perform in support for national acts including Brandon “Taz” Neiderauer, Buddy Guy guitarist Frank Bang, Kung-Fu, Peter Florance, Mike Mizwinski, and the 2025 “Experience Hendrix Tour” featuring Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Marcus King, Zakk Wylde and more.
Jesse's musical journey is marked by his passion for exploring new sounds, engaging diverse audiences, and using the power of music, creativity, and love to spread joy and provide some relief from the trials and adversities we are all presented with in this life.
